Transmission - TorqShift ® Heavy-Duty 6-speed SelectShift™ Automatic (F-250 Diesel, F-350, F-450)
- The Ford TorqShift ® 6-speed automatic has big, strong gears that easily handle the heavy torque demands of the turbo diesel and gas engines. Fewer rpm are required because the torque converter locks up at lower speeds. The SelectShift ® feature includes Progressive Range Select (for overdrive lockout) plus Full Manual. Tow/Haul minimizes gear hunting uphill; downhill, it prevents upshifting and gaining speed, and reduces reliance on brake pressure to slow the vehicle. Standard transmission in F-250 (diesel), F-350 and F-450.
SYNC ® Basic
- Available SYNC ® lets you use your voice to make a call, listen to music, voice-control, select apps and more. This technology also helps you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel.

Engine - 6.7L Power Stroke ® V8 Turbo Diesel Engine
- The available B20-capable 6.7L Power Stroke ® Turbo Diesel V8 delivers best-in-class* 450 horsepower and 935 lb.-ft. of torque. The Power Stroke features a unique inverse-flow configuration: the exhaust manifolds and turbocharger are mounted between the cylinder heads above the engine block. This inboard configuration allows a large single turbocharger to be mounted closer to the exhaust manifolds for faster air displacement and more power.
