- Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support takes conventional cruise control to a new level. It lets you select the speed and distance you want to maintain from the vehicle in front of you. When traffic ahead slows down, you automatically do too, and later resume the preset speed when traffic picks back up. Getting too close to the vehicle ahead? Forward Collision Warning with Brake Support can alert you to a potential collision: A head-up display simulating red brake lights will flash on your windshield, and an audible alert will sound. If you don’t react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase sensitivity, providing full responsiveness when you do brake.akers.
